NexGen Networks and AWS Direct Connect
AWS Direct Connect is a set of Amazon technologies, capabilities and services that are offered to Amazon Web Services users seeking direct network connectivity over a private network. By allowing customers to separate their internal applications from the public internet, AWS Direct Connect provides a higher standard of security and ensures a more consistent user experience through a powerful private connection. NexGen Networks clients who take advantage of the service can thus extend their most critical internal applications around the global NexGen Network at the maximum speed, security, and availability.
Through a partnership agreement with Amazon Web Services to allow connections from NexGen’s global network into the AWS cloud. The partnership provides customers with direct private network connectivity to AWS via AWS Direct Connect Locations, in lieu of having their traffic routed over the public Internet.
Cloud Connect Partners
These partnerships provide customers with pre-determined fiber routes over a direct private network connection in lieu of having their traffic routed over the public Internet.
