James Erickson to head NexGen Networks Global Sales Team as the New Executive Vice President of Global Sales.

New York, NY, Nov 1, 2010 – NexGen Networks, one of the fastest growing providers of Next Generation communications services, today announced a major senior appointment to their sales management team. James Erickson will join NexGen Networks as the company’s new Executive Vice President of Sales globally.

The new addition to the NexGen Networks management team will further enable NexGen Networks to fulfill its tightly focused, data-centric service strategy. This strategy will initially target multi-location Financial Markets business customers, Global Financial Market Exchanges, ISPs, Media companies, and E-Commerce businesses. NexGen Networks currently provides high bandwidth data services including global transit, transport, gigabit Ethernet, and wavelength services.

James Erickson joins NexGen with over 20 years of experience working at senior levels within the financial markets and telecommunications industry. Prior to joining NexGen, He held various senior level sales positions at Global Crossing, Con Edison Communications, and RCN Metro Optical.
