NexGen Networks Strengthens Their Global Internet Services in German Market
Continuing to provide our customers with future-proof connectivity and quality of service.
April 26, 2022 - NexGen Networks, a Global Digital Infrastructure company and the premier provider of fiber optic-based network solutions to the world’s top financial services firms and global enterprises, announced their expansion with new Internet Points of Presence “POPs” in Frankfurt, Germany. The new POPs provide clients with direct access to a Tier-1 IP network.
As requirements for high-speed connectivity continually increase, these POPs are part of NexGen’s strategy to expand its IP footprint, with a focus on the fast-growing German market. With access to an IP network, businesses gain benefits including easier incorporation of digital applications and front-line positioning to take advantage of emerging technologies.
Last year, Frankfurt surpassed rival European data centre hubs London, Amsterdam and Paris in terms of uptake in data centre capacity. The city serves as Germany’s financial hub and is home to the European Central Bank, the German stock exchange and hundreds of other commercial banks.
“Today’s ever-growing data volumes match the rising expectations of users. We are always several steps ahead of demand because we’re committed to providing our customers and partners with superior, future-proof connectivity and quality,” says Jeffrey Barth, President of NexGen Networks. “We will continuously invest in our network.”
